| I am very sorry for the loss of sweet Lacey. I'd have her cremated because then I would have her close to me , forever. RIP precious Lacey.

| Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I am so sorry for your loss , it's heartbreaking. When I had to put my beloved cat to sleep a couple years ago, I had her cremated and I still have her ashes in a little container - and I think I will always keep them with me, instead of "spreading" them or burying them.

| I'm so sorry for your loss. I know how much you are hurting for I had to let my 13 year old Chipper go last March. I did have him cremated along with his favorite stuff toy Buddy Boy which he had from the first day we brought him home from the breeders. I brought Chip and Buddy Boy home in their beautiful urn and have them sitting on my dresser where he'll always be close to me.

| I am so sorry for your loss. Our baby just left us last month, and we had him cremated and brought him home. The place that did it, did a private cremation and we have him in a beautiful little marble jar, right next to my dad. We would have buried him at home, but right now we are renting and did not want to leave him here when we move. But I can tell you first hand, that seeing the little jar with his name on it keeps his memory alive. Whoever passes by him remarks about something he use to do that made us laugh. So I hope that you can find some peace and are able to make a decision that is right for you. My deepest sympathy............ |

| I am so sorry for your loss! RIP Lacey, sweet little angel. When my stuart died I kept his ashes, its been over 3 years now and I still have the little wooden 'urn' box with his name and dates engraved and a picture of him. Its precious and I love that he's with me still. I hope that helps you make your decision! Again, Im so sorry for your loss. Its so hard with these little ones, you become so attached so easily!

| I was just reading your thread and my heart is broken for you. I have a sick little yorkie that has had issues since he is 12 weeks old (he is now 3 by a miracle)...RIGHT AFTER THE VACCINATIONS! It is heartbreaking! We have been through a lot and I know how quickly you fall in love with them. She touched your life....and was brought to you for a reason...I would keep her!

| When Harley, DJ and Annie all died in a span of 6 weeks in Jan/Feb 08 we had them cremated and their ashes returned. I will not spread their ashes anywhere. When we get the study/computer room organized, I will make a resting spot for their cremains. As others have said, "they will always be with me". Take peace in knowing that Lacey is well again and waiting for you at the

| I would first like to thank everyone for their support and love for Lacey. I have decided to have a private cremation for Lacey. I could not see her being cremated with others. Today was very hard for me. I did bring her back to the vet last week and the vet said keep force feeding her, she might come out of it. but he knew she was not going to. I had the best 2 1/2 weeks with her we loved her so much she was a joy and I know she loved us also. she alway curled up on us to sleep. I will aways love her. Thanks again everyone. |
