Another thing I hate to bring up, but we have a university near us that does animal research. If you have one near you call and see if a dog matching Yoshi's description has been sold to them. If not ask that they put an alert out not to buy a dog matching his description that he was stolen and you want him back, to notify you if one turns up there.

I'm thinking someone is keeping him for themselves, alot of people want a Yorkie but can't afford one.

I've been flipping through some Wichita websites looking as well, and one thing I have noticed (although I'm sure she already thought of it) is there is a lot of ads that just say "small M dog." I wonder if whoever found him isn't familiar with dog breeds and maybe doesn't know what his breed is. So it could be an ad that is much less specific.

Usually who founds the dog, is not very specific when posting an add,to be able to confirm if the one calling, is in fact the person with a missing dog, the real owner, will be the only one to know all the characteristics and details of the dog.

I talked to Mary this morning and to the lady that found the Yorkie... It is NOT Yoshi!! Please keep praying for his safe return.. Mary if you do not want to call the parents of the pranksters, I will!!

So sorry to hear this wasn't Yoshi. It's so heartbreaking. What a great friend to offer to call! We'll continue praying and hoping for a miracle.

have you put flyers up at the local vets offices in your area and the small pet stores? usually the pet stores have a bulletin board up for different ads and lost dog flyers. we're still praying for his safe return.

when i got riley microchipped i was debating it but the vet tech had told me a story about how a couple got in a bad car accident and their dog who was in the car ran away. a year later someone called and notified their vet that their dog had been found and was staying with a family who was kind enough to give their dog back.

dont give your hopes up he'll come back to you soon!

Mary you should try and call the microchip company. Sometimes people will try to change the registration information. It may be a bit left field but at this point I would try looking and checking everywhere and anything for Yoshi.

Yoshi: Be safe and find your way home, because I know you are still out there. You have to find your way back to Mommy.

I'm so sorry it wasn't Yoshi, it's good to know someone is trying to get that little pup back home though. I hope you get Yoshi home soon.
