have you put flyers up at the local vets offices in your area and the small pet stores? usually the pet stores have a bulletin board up for different ads and lost dog flyers. we're still praying for his safe return.
when i got riley microchipped i was debating it but the vet tech had told me a story about how a couple got in a bad car accident and their dog who was in the car ran away. a year later someone called and notified their vet that their dog had been found and was staying with a family who was kind enough to give their dog back.
