I want to thank all of you for the wonderful advice and support...my heart breaks more every second he is not home...yesterday the weather was good...it was 70 degrees...sunny...and my legs and feet were not hurting so i took MeiLing and Kioko on a walk around the neighborhood...talking to neighbors who were outside...asking if they have seen him...and no one has.....i kept asking Kioko where Yoshi was...and he just give me this look....a look that breaks my heart....i dunno..maybe I am reading too much into it but...when they MeiLing and Kioko hear me calling Yoshi name...as we are walking they begin sniffing the ground...they don't take me anywhere but they act like are sniffing for him....on our walk I noticed a bunch of my flyers were missing so i will be rehanging them today...I will be going up to Petland. Petsmart. and Petco to see if I can hang a flyer...if someone is intentionally trying to keep him I would like them to see that he is needed at home...I am going to put that he has a heart condition and need special medical care. And plea with them to take him to the vet or call me. I hope he comes home but I am starting to think that is all not going to happen. |
Just sending you good wishes and hoping that you find Yoshi |
I'm so sorry to hear that Yoshi's not back home yet. I've relit my candle again today. I will continue to pray that Yoshi returns home soon. |
I'm sure you have already thought about this a million times, but in your first post, you stated that Kioko came home soaking wet. Is there somewhere near you where they could have gotten that wet? Maybe a pond, or lawn sprinklers? |
Didnt you say your other Yorkie came back home wet? if so is there any water around where you live, a drain hole? lake, pools. I would be checking places like that out, he may be stuck in some hole and not able to get out. I pray that this is not whats happened, but you never know. we have those big water drain holes in our town on lots of the streets. Id take a flash light and start looking in those. |

I just want to say I am sooo sorry that you lost your baby :( I know how you feel we lost our boxer easter sunday a few years ago and it was just horrible!! She ran off from me at the park and why the time I got to the road she was no where to be found, I spent several hours walking the neighborhood asking people if they saw her and of course noone did. The next day we put up posters all over the neighborhood and I also put ads in the papers, I put that she needed medication. It took one week for someone to call, they called to see what type of meds she needed, after my mom kept them on the phone and was questioning them the lady came forth and said they think they have her but get this " THERE CHILDREN LOVE HER AND THEY WANT TO KEEP HER " My dad ended up going over to the house and gave them a reward and took her back. People are rude out there and will keep a beautiful dog. But they need to realize that if you find a dog and it looks like it has a home you need to report the animal, a family is grieving. We found a dog a about two months ago and we kept her for the afternoon and called some vets and came into contact THAT night wit hthe owners. I hope you find your baby |
I have been walking around the lake area in front of my house with kioko...he doesn't seem to have a reaction to the lake..as if he never been there...although its right in front of my house .. behind the neighbors house...but it is easy to access.... i have been walking around the neighborhood hoping kioko would give me some type of clue or hint as to where they went that day...but nothing... our neighborhood has big drainage thingys on almost every corner...and i stop at them calling for yoshi...hoping to maybe hear something but nothing...kioko even snooped around there and stuck his head in...of course i had a tight hold on the leash... the only difference i have noticed is that Kioko is now afraid of larger size dog...he starts shaking and pulling the leash opposite way from the larger dog...and this dog is our next door neighbors dog that he has meet before...i dunno...it is just weird |
Just stopping to check on any news. My thoughts and prayers are still here for Yoshi. I am keeping faith that you will see him soon. God bless him and return him to you. |

Mary, I am so very sorry.....I know this must be Horrible to go through, especially the not knowing! Maybe Kioko was just frightened of larger dogs when he was gone away from you & that's why he's acting this way. You're doing everything that you can do. Prayers continuing for Yoshi!! |
Praying for answers, praying your boy is home soon and sending a hug for you. |
This just breaks my heart! I just found this thread tonight and read all of the pages just praying with ever click of the mouse that the next page would have good news on it. Oh, the turmoil you have been through is just absolutely devastating!!! I will pray for you! He has to come home, he just has to!!! I can't even imagine the person that would keep a lost puppy and not even try to find it's previous owner! They should know that he will never love another owner like he loved you! It just makes me sick inside. Good luck, best wishes, all of YorkieTalk is on your side and thinking of you in this time of need! |
I keep checking for updates, hoping and praying that Yoshi has come home. Don't give up hope! I'll keep praying! Hugs to you! |
Mary, so sorry your yoshi is missing, prayers for his safe return home....hugs for you too. |
Hoping and praying for Yoshi's safe return home!!! |
We're just checking in on Yoshi this morning, and thinking of you. |
I wonder if he could have gotten swept away in one of those drains especially since the other dog sniffed when you took him back and he was all wet when he came home. I am still praying he will return safely. |
Had to check back to see if there were any updates. Im hoping for good news soon. |
today marks exactly 7 days since he gone missing.... |

I hate to even say this but when I worked in a vet office one place we had to tell people to check was DOT. When workers pick up animals who are wearing anything that can I them they log them into a book. Sadly alot of people have found their pet this way. I don't know if the DOT in your area does this or not. I hope he is returned to you safe. |
