Very nice to hear you are getting to know Mia! I'm sure she is going to be the best thing that ever happend to you. I'm so sorry for all you have been through. It is totally up to you, but I would list the breeder's name on YT if for nothing else than to save others heartache should she do this again in the future. My breeder and I were discussing your situation and she told me it is not uncommon for someone to come in to choose a puppy and want to offer more for one that is already taken. It seems to me your breeder didn't have a very good code of ethics, especially if she did take more money, from someone else, to switch the pups.

I would advise anyone puppy shopping anywhere to ask their breeder, up front, if they will allow them to photograph the puppy once they make a choice. Don't just get just a picture of the face. Get one from the back and of the tummy also. I was told no photographs were allowed but I had already put down a deposit.

your baby is precious! sooo cute but on the other hand I would be infuriated!!!! unethical breeders make me soooo mad taking advantage of people that certainly do not deserve it,hopefully like ashley said,it happened for a reason but especially with losing your other yorkie and all that woman had to have had no heart!!! She would not get away with it i would make sure of!!!of course Id never ask to switch them back but something would be done...congrats on your baby and sorry about the problem!

You have every right to be angry but it sounds like you are taking the perfect approach. If you forgive her and move on you'll be much happier. What she did was without question designed to serve her own purpose but in the end you have a wonderful little girl that has just as much chance at being the smallest adult of the litter as being the largest.

I have raised this breed long enough to know that you are going to be surprised more often than not at which puppy winds up bigger and which one is smaller. We think when we see a little one compared to his littermates that he will stay smaller, but just as often he'll be the biggest adult.

With her beautiful face (from your pictures) and her wonderful temperament (from your description) it sounds like you have a delightful little girl at any size. Knock the dust from your sandals and leave the deceitful experience behind so you can truly appreciate your new furbaby. It's a lesson learned and you are the better person.
