| Lurker coming out to play Hi everyone, Ive been a member for quite a while, but on the shy side. So finally Im here to introduce myself and gang. I have 5, but only one is a yorkie. Some say she is silky. I dont really know. Her name is Maggie. I got her from a guy at work that was using her as a training toy for his Pits. She came to me with some serious injuries and fear issues. She is getting over most of them now and tries to rule the house. We still have ear issues. estimate 2-3 yrs old Duke is my lab- he is also a rescue. Some one tossed him out of their truck as they drove by my house. After a week of trying to catch him I finally was successfull. Injuries all healed and a special bond with my tinest one and he is happy and training to be a balance service dog. Then I have 3 Min Pins. Kimo ( black and tan) 9 years old. given to me recently, as his owner was fed up with him. I am looking for a better home for him as Duke and him dont get along. Lani and Koko are both stag red, Mom and Pup. Although Koko is over a year old now. Koko is closely bonded with the Lab Duke. and weighs just 5 lbs. If I can I will post pictures of the gang in a few min. Hope to participate more, Ive already learned a lot from reading on this forum thanks |

| Welcome to YT and thank you for rescueing that poor Yorkie/Silky. That fool needs to be in a cell with Vicks! May he have bad luck the rest of his life. I'm being nice here too. Thank heaven's you came to her aid. I can't even imagine what a human is thinking doing horrible things like that to an innocent animal. You'll love it here and make friends. Welcome once again. Please post pictures when you can of all your furbabies. Lucky little duckies they are to have you. |

| Hi there and welcome to YT. I have learned a lot from this site as well. I have a one yr old Yorkie whom I just adore. I've never owned a yorkie (I've always had large dogs) and I am so glad I own one now. He is such a joy to have around. I'm glad that you were able to give your yorkie a loving home. I would love to see picks of your yorkie!

| - wow you must be shy - it's taken you a year to post -- glad you decided to join in the fun here. Thank you for all you are doing rescuing these furbabies - what a big heart you must have. So glad Maggie is with you now!! That poor girl. Also, I want to tell you about the best ear infection medicine. My Bubba came to me, when I adopted him, with chronic ear infection. My holistic vet prescribed this very unlikely treatment. You have got to read the company's website about what vets & owners are saying about Pavia Natural Wound Care Cream Pavia Products For Pet and Horse Owners (866) 593-0790 - click where it says read case study & then the testimonials -- I believe you can order straight from this Minnesota company. Initially we used a small bit daily until Bubba's ears cleared up - then once a week for about another month, now I really just use it when I see him start scratching his ears

| thanks Thanks for the welcomes, and also thanks for the info on the ear wound cleaner. I just put in an order for some and we will see if it helps. Maggie had her head crushed by one of the pits she was living with and it damaged the shape of her ear canals. therefore she gets infections really easy. thanks again |

| OMG, what a story and little Maggie is so fortunate you came along. You say you work with this guy? I hope you weren't too shy to turn his sorry butt into the local authorities...that kind of person has no business owning any kind animal.
