| ![]() she has a number of issues. most are getting better with time. she was a submissive pee'er All anyone had to do was look at her and she would flip over and pee herself. Like a little fountain. Now she seldom flips over and olny pees when she is caught doing something wrong. No raising your voice to her either or pees happen. She started out at the very bottom of my gang, but now she thinks she is on top. Fights with my oldest min pin female. Cant always tell what starts it, but today we put 2 pans down 3 dogs ( I know, fight was my fault) she ate a little sharing with the youngest. Lani had the bowl all to herself. when I went to pick up the bowls maggie attacked Lani. Immedietly they both were picked up and dropped in the sink to get wet. instant fight stopper. Now both hanging heads are trying to make up to me. They both had a training session as soon as I dried them. It seems to help Maggie know who is boss. The first few times we went on a walk with maggie, she would see someone ,or dog ; flip and pee. the beach was very hard, lots of people. finally had to carry her as we couldnt get her off her back. Last walk, she was trying to pull us along, wanting to go to every person and fight every dog. We are working on a middle ground. She may be happier as an only dog, but I think she has been through enough home changes, and only dog isnt going to happen here. So we keep working at it. She can sit, stay, down, dance - really well, and bang your a dead dog. We started the dead dog trick and she goes to her back to be dead and quit going to her back to pee. heel- well see the above story. Thanks for asking and for all the welcomes. |
