| Yorkie Yakker | Mine sleep in the bedroom in their own bed. They love it there. We tuck them in at night like you would a child. They stay there all night and then get up to use the bathroom and then it is play time! ![]() montecore

| When we first took Laddy in for his initial check up our vet who has yorkie's of his own told us that they tend to have weeker knees so not to let them jump from furniture and especially high beds which ours is. So for this reason we have never allowed Laddy to sleep with us. Have any of you had issues with your furbabies hurting themselves jumping from your beds? |

| husband won't allow charlie on the couch or bed..so he sleeps in his crate at night time. Plus we are still potty training him. His crate used to be in our room at night time but for the past couple of days he has been sleeping in the livingroom. He will bark very loud if he needs anything plus it is warmer out in the livingroom. |

| When we first got Piper she always slept in her x-pen and comfy bed in the kitchen. I have a 22 year old son who lives at home and never goes to bed at night. He would be gong in out of the kitchen with his friends all night long. They would take her out of the pen and play with her and then put her back in. Sometimes she would cry but usually settled back in quickly. On Dec. 29 Piper had hip surgery and the first night home she cried and cried in her pen. I felt so bad for her I brought her in my bed. She settled her little body next to mine and fell right to sleep and didn't make a peep or move around all night. She has been in my bed ever since and she is as good as gold all night. I just love her little body snuggled up against mine.

| Harley has slept in our bed a couple times, but he prefers to sleep in his crate. It has a bed inside it that he likes and the blanket given to me by his breeder. I guess we move around too much or something, but he asks to go in his crate at night.

| My girls all have their very own crate. They know which one is theirs and they run get into them every night and i go along and zip them up. I love knowing they are right beside my bed and that they aren't running all over the house at night. DH unzips them in the morning and takes them outside to potty and then they all jump into bed with me and we get to snooze for another hour or two. |

| Donating YT 4000 Club Member | My Harry sleeps with us since we got him, that was 6 years ago, when I got Prada last June, hubby told me that she would be better in her own bed since she was so small, so I went to toys R us and got a cute pen like bed and she LOVES it, she ask to be put in it when she is tired and ready for bed.. Miss Chanel sleeps in her pink lulu next to Prada's crib.. hugs, Carmen in nj |

All the bed pictures are very cute . Yorkies look like little angels when they are sleeping hehe but when they are awake, another story lol.. Fufufashions, the crate put side by side is so cute ..and to think they know which is their own is so cute too.

| In bed with us..... he's now 9 mos old and started at about 2mos old. If I try and snuggle with my wife he gets really jealous and jumps on top of us and wiggles his way between us. Boy has my love life suffered.![]() but I love him just the same. |

| Hi I have two yorkies ........the 1yr old sleeps with me (took til she was about 8 months because I have cats too and being territorial - she'd pee on the bed when the cat tried to sleep with us). She got over that after having to go back to sleeping in the crate and now is back to sleeping with me. My 3 mos old yorkie, Widget (Wild Midget) sleeps in her crate IN my bedroom. My problem with the 1yr old is that she has designated herself as the household NARC and whenever the cats are getting into something - she alerts (barks) me and chases them. I've tried closing the door so she stays calmly in bed with me but then when she has to go, she can't get to the kitchen pad to relieve herself. And if I leave the door open...........she jumps and barks every time she hears the cats up to something! I too was afraid of rolling over on her in the beginning - but at 6lbs now - she's pretty solid and strong and seems to know right where to lay where that won't happen! Good Luck - I think Yorkies are the most WONDERFUL family members! |

| Well Dromies and Milky have always slept with us. I have never rolled over on her. My son, who has a heart condition was always very very small for his age. At 3 he was only about 16 lbs, and always slept with us. So I got use to checking behind me before I rolled over, and the habit has just stuck. Now, it would just feel weird without her being there! |
