| Crazy! My husband said he loves our Biggie so much that if we had and extra 150,000 he would clone Biggie. I love Biggie soooo much, but I am not sure I feel comfortable with Cloning. Sounds like the clone might not look the same or even have the same personality. |

| Wow that's a whole lot of money! I admit I don't know much about cloning, but I would think this dog would also develop cancer. Why and how could someone knowingly put an animal through that? I think it's selfish. |

YT 2000 Club Member | When he crosses his front legs over each other while lying down, that's when we'll know he's the same," said Ed Otto. this statement made me laugh... cause Ive had 2 labs and they both crossed thier front legs over each other while laying down AND my toy poodle does it too. I love my animals very much however I wouldnt have them cloned, it just doesnt seem right to me at all and how does anyone know what the true outcome would be. Off topic.. are labs more prone to cancer than other dogs? Does anyone know?? Just seems like any person I know who has a lab or a lab mix they have died or are now dying of cancer.

That's what happens when you have too much $$ and you don't know what to do with it all!! Absolutly insane!! I LOVE Baron soo much But, when he passes away, I'm not paying $$ to bring him back!! That's too much like playing God and i'll let him do his own job!!

| Interesting. I think it's sad. Like someone else said, think of how many rescue dogs they could have helped. It's sad that there are some people who don't even have enough money to feed themselves or their kids and they spend that kind of money on that. To each it's own. I just don't think that amount of money should be spent on something like this. It's their money and they are entitled to do what they please. Just my opinion. (Hope no one get's all pissy with me.. There's been a lot of that lately.)

| [ We have had two labs, one a yellow that was healthy until he passed away at the age of 14 when his stomach turned. second a black lab that lived until 12.5 and she had diabetes for 9 years but not sign of cancer in both. We now have a chocolate lab that is 5 years old and still acting like a puppy.

| People are blessed with wealth and could do something good with it yet they waste it... I have a son with cancer - they could have donated $155,000 to pedatric cancer research and made a REAL difference in science... and then they could/should have adopted a lab puppy from a shelter - we all know there are plenty of full-breed labs waiting for their 'fur'ever home... They should be ashamed to admit they cloned a dog when there are bigger things going on around them
