| Why did you not take Cody to a vet right away? Don't you know how delicate Yorkie's are and they are very high maintenance and if you aren't prepared for this you should NOT have a Yorkie. I hope to God this little pup survies. Get him to a Vet IMMEDIATELY. |

| I didnt read all the responses, so forgive me if this has already been said. BUT, YOu should never ever ever foold around with a dog that has this kind of injury, especially do not put him on the floor! He may have had a spinal injury that you could have made WORSE! for example . Maybe the vets could have saved the use of his legs, but by moving him around to much, you could have done more damage and now he will not regain use of his legs! |

| Please turn him over to a reputable Yorkie Rescue that can afford to invest the $$ needed to care for this little guy. It may be a hard decision for you to make but please put your feelings aside and his well being first. By your own admission you are a 20 yr. old college student that cannot afford his care. Placing him with a reputable Yorkie rescue will at least give him a fighting chance. Elaine |

| I'm so glad you took him to see another vet! Just hang in there. Nobody knows everything at first, but YT is a great place for help and advice. Please keep us updated on how he is doing.

| Poor little pup. This must be so hard for you. How's the cutie pie? His video is just precious just wanna squeeze his cute face..hehe..I know it's tough being a college student and affording a yorkie but I would HIGHLY recommend getting pet insurance for Codi. It can range from $10 a month and up to cover him for all kinds of accidents. That way when something happens, his health insurance will cover it. I've had health insurance for my two from the first week they came here. I didn't want to ever get stuck with a huge bill that wasn't going to get reimbursed to me. It's been great for us. Mine even covers some regular visits and meds like flea/heartworm. I would look into it. Yorkies are so little and fragile but so fearless you just never know what they will get into next

I wish you were a troll so this story would not be true. No offense to you but just thought perhaps it was a fabricated story, which we often see. I am deeply sorry about your baby but so happy he does not have any broken bones. You have been given wonderful advise and I hope this helps you in getting him better. Hugs to both of you and welcome to YT. | |

| I know you are about 30 mins from this vet.. but I had a wonderful vet in Chelmsford MA. The name of the place is Countryside Vetrinary Hospital. They are also an emergency facility if you ever need to take your baby somewhere quick and its off hours. Im glad to hear nothing is broken on your baby. I hope he heals up quick. Your grandfather must feel horrible.

| MSPCA-Angell: Angell-Boston Specialty Services You may want to take your little one here....they have everything in one place...from neurology to cardiology. I'm a huge believer that Neuro isnt something you should "wait and see" .

| Before responding quite so harshly please read the updates to the post... she brought her pup to 2 different vets before you even posted.

Pretty drastic telling her to give up her pup. She did take him to two different vets. And yes she is a college student and $$$ is tight, but give her a break She did take him two times. He has a fighting chance because he has a new mom here, who obviously loves him very much. I wish the best for you and your little guy, try putting the bell on his collar, so you all can hear when he is around. These little babies move so darn fast, that they are a blur sometimes. Good luck, and keep everyone posted as to how he is doing.

| Geez people ease up for Gods sake. Some of you can be so harsh and inappropriate. The girl just needed some advice, not YOUR opinion of whether she should keep him or not. Original poster please ignore the couple of harsh comments. The rest of us are here to offer our support on a job well done double checking with the vet.
