Remember at 10 months his coat will still be changing, and again if he has not had propper grooming he will look a bit ragged. But, that is only cosmetics . Look for his temperment, and see if he wil fit into your life that way . All dogs are different just like a human is from each other.

sounds like a very nice puppy

of course he will miss his old family but which yorkie baby didn't miss their mommy and sibilings when we first brought them home?

milu was so cute when we brought her home. you could tell that she misses her mommy and siblings. but also she liked us because we are very nice to her and splurged her with attention and love! and treats! lol it took her about 3 days i think to forget about her old family. lol

hope you get the puppy, and don't forget to show us pix!

I can tell you this I picked up my 10 month old male on the 20th only 3 days ago

and he was living with a family with 2 parents and 4 children. In these last three day he has done incredibly! He follows me everywhere

and already knows when my husband gets home from work, and when the bus comes. He should be fine. All dogs are different but I would think a little extra attention would fix any homesickness.

i mean, just put yourself in their situation you know? if someone took you to a different place and dropped you off there. even though i am sure you will miss your family and all the ppl you used to know. if the new people treated you like the way you treat your new puppy. with tons of love and attention and adoration! i am sure you would be a happy camper too! (especially if you were 10 month old as well

or however old the equivalent is for humans
