I can tell you this I picked up my 10 month old male on the 20th only 3 days ago
and he was living with a family with 2 parents and 4 children. In these last three day he has done incredibly! He follows me everywhere
and already knows when my husband gets home from work, and when the bus comes. He should be fine. All dogs are different but I would think a little extra attention would fix any homesickness.
