| I have those little steps that my little one could get up to the bed. She sleeps with me as well as my other 3 but they all don't bother me. I keep the house pretty cold so it is very welcome to be warmed by them. Also, in the middle of the night she gets off the bed to do her business (which could be anywhere on the floor, she's 3 1/2 mos.) and then climbs up the stairs and gets back to snuggle. | Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Lola has little stairs that lead up to the bed. She's SUCH a little snuggle muffin, and always snuggles with my boyfriend and I in bed. However, she tends to like to lay right between my legs. It's really annoying though cuz then I can't really move without kicking her around! So basically, she ends up getting to snuggle away, while mommy is lying flat on her back all night, unable to move!! She also likes to sleep on the same pillow, and sleeps on top of my head. When my boyfriend isn't there, and it's just Lola and I, she literally takes up the entire bed (although she's 4lbs.), she sprawls out, and slowly pushes me further and further off the bed....I'm about hanging on to the side of the bed, trying not to fall off, while the munchkin is completely sprawled out like a princess in the bed!! Our little babies are so spoiled!! |

| Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Our sleep pattern has changed, and I'm not quite sure why. Both dogs used to start on my wife's side of the bed on her heating blanket, then Jack would come over to my side when she left for work before me. Eddie would tough it out. Now, inexplicably, Jack has wanted to sleep with me all night. He nestles in right next to my neck and patiently stays with me no matter how much I toss and turn. Eddie, jealous I think, has been coming over in the morning. Only I gotta be careful. Eddie has been territorial before in bed, and he actually bit me one time, mistaking me for Jack. So I carefully put Eddie on one side of my body and Jack on the other. If I move too much, Eddie hightails it, but it's so pleasant that I typically just lie there and count my blessings in life.

| DJ and Harley slept in their little doggie beds. Zack likes to snuggle either in the space between our pillows or in the pit of my stomach. Zeke likes the backside of my knees (I sleep on my right side). Sometimes they both sleep at the foot of the bed. Limits my moving around during the night. Zeke's the nighttime roamer, the bed, Harley's bed or the front room couch.

| I love all the stories here. I kicked Mia out of my bed, because she does not let me sleep. She also walks on me and moves around the bed all night. I'm afraid I'm goin to crush her. Plus what really did it was he had an accident on my bed. I said oh noooo she is out. I bought her a nice bed but is taking some time to get her used to it. I feel sad at times because I know she wants to sleep with me but I can't change the sheet everyday. |

| Tyson sees between my legs too! He stretches over my face sometimes. I'll wake up and he's either between my legs or by my side. He can jump super high and get on my bed! He normally sleeps when I do but if I'm more tired than he is he'll come to bed as he pleases b/c he can hop up easily |

| I could not deal with the full-out one sided "play" sessions he was having with my face. Not fun to be awoken by him play biting my ears and nose, but it was the lip-bite and tug that was the last straw. I guess he did not like my snoring. LOL. We may revisit this option later on when he stops teething. |

| My girlfriend snores, so on most nights, I will sleep on the couch or our other bed in the guest room. She always said that she did not want a dog sleeping on the bed with her, but after seeing Bella sleeping with me, I guess she got a little jealous. Then when Bella had her liver surgery, Denise started making a little ring of pillows that keep Bella right by her chest and Bella will burrow in there and go to sleep. Funny thing is, I guess the snoring doesn't bother her or keep her awake so all is well. Always funny to go in there and see this little ball of fur all curled up tight in a wall of pillows.

| YT 1000 Club Member | I grew up with a fox terrier sleeping with me. He slept with me from the time he was a few months old ( I was 12) until my parents sold our house and he had to go live with my older sister when I was 21 years old. Then he lived to be 19. My husband did not like animals in our bed and for many years we had dogs that slept on the floor in our bedroom. My english setter somehow got to sleep at the foot of our bed though until she got sick. His english setter slept in a crate in our bedroom. Then Teek came along and my husband told me the dog could stay as long as it slept in a crate. First night, I put him in his crate and went to bed. 2nd night I put him in his crate and went to bed. 3rd night my husband went downstairs and stuck me with walking both dogs, locking up the house, turning everything off. I do all this, put Teek in his crate and go downstairs and my husband is playing video games. I ask him if I can bring the dog down to hang out for a while since he is playing and I wanted to be on facebook. I tell him I will put him back in his crate before we go to sleep. Teek climbs into the bed with me and goes right to sleep. An hour later I fall asleep, and I told my husband to put the dog in his crate if I fall asleep. I wake up at 9:30 the next morning with Teek still curled up with me. I get up and ask my husband why he didn't put him in his crate and he says "he was so cute curled up asleep with you I couldn't." We get the puppies and one puppy is ours and I am the one telling him to put the puppy in his crate because I don't want him to pee/poop on our bed. He is mostly housebroken now and does not get up in the night to pee/poop so he has slept with us all this week! Now, we have 2 yorkies in our bed and the little one slept snuggled against my husband last night and he slept great. LOL Sometimes you just have to try it to see if you like it. I sleep better with a dog snuggled against my leg for some reason.
