Pooping during the nite??? - Page 2 - YorkieTalk.com Forums

My Rocky is 12 - he does this occasionally. Sometimes when he is waking me up from a deep sleep I am just too tired to get up. I now always leave wee wee pads down for him in case he has to pee or poop. Sometimes he nails a throw rug in the kitchen but he really tries.

I think if he's active at all through the night it may encourage his bowels to move. Does he sleep pretty soundly otherwise? Or is a a light sleeper?

Well, as I said he is 2 and never had any problems. Fingers crossed, the last 3 nites not problems!! Yeah!! Let's just hope it was a phase. Maybe, b/c I have a new grandbaby coming in March and he senses it??? We have been busy with baby showers, etc.
