That's just obnoxious. I say I adopted Thor, even though technically I purchased him. That's a dumb example anyway, because living beings and objects have different terms applied to them.

Yes, deffinately get out of that forum or what ever it is. If you do find yourself needing to go back in to ask other questions they 'might be able to answer, then change your screen name for sure and don't ask dog questions.

Well, I am hoping for you that AKC or CKC might be able to answer your questions anyway. They would be a more professional group to ask and get an answer that you may or may not like but at least respect your not wanting to purchase from a puppy mill. They may know judges or other folk who do buisness with Korean dog folk. Then again, they may not. I have heard that some American Yorky breeders have dogs showing in Russia and I have seen some links on some folks websites with Polish,French,British breeders. I have not looked at Japanese Yorky breeders. I have decided to keep my searches within my local borders to find Yorky breeders, so can't really help you with "foreign" Yorky breeders.

that will be my last resort....
its just that the whole timing needs to work out too because i don't want to take a young puppy on a 14 hour flight
so i have emailed few breeders in ontario to see when they expect their next litter and etc.
i feel like if someone has a litter between now and feb it would be super perfect because i could get the dog late april/may and the dog will live with me and get neutered over the summer and heal before we leave for korea

it was an incredible feeling to go back to "home" i haven't been there since i left, (i was 3 yrs old) so everything was so new and everything. i can't wait to go back in the summer!!!! i have a brand new niece she was born in december!!!!

I mean seriously, someone who can't understand the concept of what adopting a shelter dog means , probably wouldn't be to helpful in your search.

They are not the kind of people you want advice from anyway... I would be very afraid to take the advice of anyone that wants to adopt a television

I can't believe they'd make fun of you for saying that you want to adopt a dog! How does this compare to a TV? Geesh, a TV isn't alive and breathing. I think when someone is getting a new animal, they are adopting it. You are taking it away from it's birth mother, and feeding it, caring for it, and LOVING it. You are taking over as it's Mommy! There for you are adopting it.

I'm glad that you closed your account. Noone deserves to be treated like that.
