| Hi, I use a wet washcloth to wash Shelby Rae's face especially after she eats...she doesn't like it but she has stopped complaining, she just goes and rolls around on my bed to dry her face lol

| Mine squirmed and wiggled at first , but now they know I am going to wash their face so they may as well sit still. They still squirm a little but not much. I don't make much of a fuss about it , I just take them say, "Let's wash your face." and then do it. Once they learned I was going to do it , they stopped all ( well most of) the drama. I use puppy wipes for their face after they eat and a nice warm wet ( but not soaking ) washcloth for the eyes. Just take it slow with the eyes. She actually likes when I wash her eyes. She likes the warm cloth I think. Also I sometimes wash her eyes while we sit in front of the fire when she is sleepy...she doesn't seem to care at all then.

Thor's Human Donating Member | I think Thor (sort of) likes me cleaning his eyes, because the goop can obscure his vision (think back to when you were a kid and you couldn't get your own eye goop out). He's less understanding of the need to completely remove the dried gunk from his eye lashes, but he tolerates it, and his eyes look nice and alert afterwards! I use wet q-tips and I let Thor chew on them if he wants. I want him to buy into process! |

| Same with Lola. I just use a very warm wash cloth. She didn't like it much at first but doesn't put up a fight anymore. I GENTLY hold the under side of her chin for control. Then massage her neck at the same time with my fingers. I think she has learned her eyes feel a lot better after! And course, she always gets a treat after! |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | We'll I don't wash my boys face everyday...hehe I don't have a need to. and it even seems when he eats wet food that he stays clean. So we only have to wash his face when he gets a bath. |

Donating YT Addict | yeah i try to wash Tyke's face every day if i can and he tries to eat the washcloth. So now i use puppy wipes or i stand him on a towel at my kitchen sink where his head is over the sink and use the sprayer just to wash his face. He's not fond of it, but it's better than a stinky face
