| I feel so guilty! I brought Quincy to the vet today to be neutered. He seems so sad i feel so bad but I do know it is for the best. The vet gave me some pain medicine to give to him as needed but how will i know if he needs it. He looks like it hurts so bad. But he's not whining or making any noise oh he also had 11 baby teeth pulled so I guess you could say i got him coming and going. He also keeps licking but they didn"t say anything about that.

| Does he have an e-collar or onesie on? When in doubt, give the meds.

It just isn't healthy or safe for him to bite or chew the incision.

| I thought the vets give those cone looking thingys for their heads, sorry I can't remember the name of them, but it stops them from leaking or biting if they have had surgery. I would give meds as directed by the vet or the package. |

| Baby Onsies I read on YorkieTalk about using baby onsies. I tried these for Bella after her spay and they were great no licking or biting at her stitches. I cut a hole for her tail and just unsnapped them to pee or poo. I got the smallest size and they fit her pretty good. |

| If the doctor didn't give you a collar I would cover it up with belly bands, or something that wouldn't irritate the situation.

| OK...my advice...he's not complaining, you are worried, right? Put him in a onsie, take 2 of his pain pills & chase them with a glass of wine....it's a win/win situation! Yes? No? |
