your male will be able to tell before you do you lol but just keep an eye on her, look for swelling and bleeding

My little girl went in for the first time at about 7 1/2 months and again in Feb of this year. I look for her to go in again around August. I almost missed the first time, the second I was not ready to breed her as of yet. I wanted to give her some more time and I wanted more time to learn what I needed to do and be prepared for.

I have had many females...they can go into heat any time from 6 to 14 months...the average for mine is 7 to 8 months the first time...Kate is 10 months and no heat as yet..but her mom and Gmom had a first heat at 14 mos...then 6 to 8 months after that time.
