I only use the freedom harness on Baxter, It has wide material that goes over his chest area and the straps are made out of soft suede. As for his tags, I have a coller with them on it, which he wears, but I only walk him with the harness.

When I first got my Bryan he also wore a cat collar with bells then we upgraded to a regular size collar with his tags on it but when we go for walks I always use a harness..... and I can control him bettter with the harness and it also works well with his car seat, it attaches to his harness.....Harness is the way to go

Under the bed is my concern. I read about someone Yorkie choking that way.

Maybe your Yorkie doesn't have access to those style of beds.

The Boys wear ChokeFree harnesses with their tags on the D Ring.

Keely wears a collar, for her tags, but its loose enough so she can slip out of it if it were to get caught on something. I walk her on a harness, BUt i would NEVER leave her harness on her 24/7. It would be waay too uncomfortable IMO.
