| general training question... ok well i reward bailee with treats for going to the bathroom,it seems to being going pretty ok but before i start other training i wasnted to master this first. My logic was I didnt want to give her treats for everything but when I want to teach her to sit and come and stuff I want to use the treats. So would it hurt to wait a few months until she masters potty training to start other types of training. Will she b harder to train when she is a few months older?

| Start training her now. Late will be more difficult.

| Praise is best. Initially you have to mix treats & praise. I break the treat into tiny pieces. At first you'll need to give a treat & praise with each success. Then, you can reduce the frequency of treats, but continue the praise. Clicker training may be an alternative, to avoid treats, but I haven't tried it.

| If you feed her kibble, you may want to cut down on the amount per meal, & substitue kibble for treats.
