| My Doggie Hates me Hello everyone, I am so sad today. I dont know what's wrong with my three month old baby. Since yesteday she is being very mean to me. She barks wants to bite me all the time. I dont know how it all began. I dont even scream at her. I have read a lot so I'm very patient and try using positive reinforcement. Since yesterday I cant even hold her anymore she growls and snaps to bite me. She already bit me hard too. What should I do. I've had her for a month now and was always very sweet and loving. I carried her all the time she would sleep on my legs while I was on the computer. I would take her with me everywhere. Today she growled the whole ride in the car. Is like she only stops to sleep then back to attacking me. Sadness. I miss my sweet baby. Any one Please help. |

| oh, how awful for you! I don't have a clue to what may be going on, just prayers that it'll get worked out. I'll bump this up so that others see it, perhaps someone can give you some input. My only suggestion would be to contact a dog behaviorist to see if they can help. Please let us know what happens, ok?

| If this is sudden and new behavior there may be something wrong with her. She may need a vet check

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I agree - she may have pain somewhere and this is how she's showing you - I'd def go see a vet - they don't do that so suddenly unless it's play biting - but it doesn't sound like that |

| She's probably in pain. Something happened to her. Dogs just do go vicious for no reason. If you are afraid she might hurt you, grab a towel and wrap her, and put her in a crate for a trip to the vet.

| It's unanimous .... dogs don't just become aggressive like that If she's not feeling well she will become nasty

| Although I definatlly thinka vet check is in order. Can you recall doing anything to her accidentally? Pinching? Stepping on? Anything that may have upset her? Although most dogs are VERY forgiving creatures it may be that case. She may be fearful of you. My uncles English setter is very afraid of woman, simply because she was stepped on by a woman (English setters are very sensitive dogs) And now she barks like crazy at woman that she doesnt know. And is even A little weary around myself and other members of the family that are woman. Its worth looking into, because a fearful dog, is an unstable dog, which is an unhappy dog. |

| Wow, that's terrible! I know it's probably easier said than done, but try not to take it so personally... Like you said, you've been a loving owner and treated her well, so it's not about you She's just trying to tell you something the only way she knows how. Once you figure out what the problem is, she'll go right back to sleeping on your legs :-) Please keep us posted, I'm hoping it winds up being an easy problem with an easy solution! |

| Yes, try not to take it personally. Your dog doesnt hate you! She is either fearful Or in pain. It is very unlikely that she is agressive at her age! Goodluck! |
