| Sigh why is she doing it????? Mya used to sleep through the night completely!! Now all of a sudden she is waking me up to go potty at like 3 or 4am! I don't understand! Like I feel the need to reward her and let her out for being potty trained and coming into my bed and waking me up, but why did she all of a sudden the last few weeks stop sleeping through the night?? I KNOW she can hold it! I even tried pulling up her water 2 hours before bedtime...and I always make sure she pees 3 times while we're outside. Sigh I am feeling hopeless I don't know what to do... Could she have a UTI? Why would the frequency and urgency increase out of no where???? I don't know what to do cuz she deserves to be listened to, i just imagine if i couldn't go when I needed to sigh so I let her out. __________________

YT 500 Club Member | I can't tell you why your baby is doing that for sure but ours is 7 1/2, and she does that every so often. I remember her doing that for about a week a couple years ago. If you think there is something wrong, check with your vet, but you will probably be sleeping through the night again soon.

| It's funny you should mention this, my Brandi has also started waking up in the middle of the night to go potty. It just started this week. It isn't until she is jumping up and down because she wants me to pick her and put her back in the bed with me that I realized that she was even awake. Funny thing is she is quite capable of jumping in my bed without my assistance. Go figure. Fortunately the last few nights she has done this, she has manage to pee on her potty pad. Besides Brandi has never let me know she has to potty. No sniffing, circling or anything. That's why keeping her on a schedule is important. There are no signals. When I am at home, I know her schedule so she almost never has an accident. The potty pads are for when I am at work and now it seems at night. I have the industrial size bottle of Nature's Miracle because she still has a long way to go for potty training. The reason I started letting her sleep with me was because she was able to hold it at night while she slept in her crate so I figured it was safe to let her start sleeping with me. |
