| Hi! Welcome! ![]() I couldn't imagine a sweeter dog then our 10 lb teapot, Boo. The larger Yorkies seem to be similar in attitude to the large draft horses, Gentle Giants. Gracie Ruth is 4 lbs, Yogi is 3 1/2lbs and Boo is so careful and gentle with both of them. He'll squat down on his front legs so that they can "attack and tear off his ears and rip out his throat". ![]() He is also the biggest cuddler!! Which the Momma really appreciates on these cold Texas nights. ![]() 1) Boo in his summer cut 2) Gracie Ruth, Yogi & Boo-all 3 saying, "Enough already Momma!"

| My Penny is 15-16lbs. I love her to pieces-- she's a rough and tumble little dog with enough endurance for 7 mile hikes, and she's just big enough that I'm not too worried about her really hurting herself when she decides to wrestle with labs and shepherds at the dogpark. I honestly don't know how those of you with the tiny-tiny ones do it-- I think I'd always be so worried that they would get hurt somehow!

| my molly was 15lbs at last weigh in! she had put some on after being spayed, and we are trying hard not to put any more on. Smaller meals and a healthy snack mid day seems to be working well. She still seems small to me, and when big dogs run across to say hello, im relieved she's not any smaller! |

| My boy(4 months at 3.5 lbs) is charting to be 5.5 but i dont know if he will stop growing after that... were all your teapots way off the charts when they were puppies or where they charting to be a certain weight and than kept growing.???

| Chip was only a lb less than your boy at 8 weeks and grew up to be between 8-9 lbs. I can't remember his weight at 4 months, but it was around that area. BUT you never know. I've seen some that start big and end up tiny and others that start out tiny and end up big. I'd love to know how big my Smokey was when he was a baby, but I got him from rescue when he was 6 months and he was already full grown then.

| Not all of them stop growing at 6 months, but mine did. Neutering doesn't have anything to do with growth.

Bonnie is just shy of 3 pounds and she couldn't be healthier. It really depends on whether or not you get your dog from a reputable breeder who knows the background of his/her dogs. | |

| We also have a few large yorkies, one is 16 lbs and the other is 15 lbs. One of the prettier yorkies we have had came in as a rescue, an owner surrender because he was too big. A very, very sweet boy weighing 21 lbs. He was an absolutely beautiful boy and went very quickly to a great family. His temperament was outstanding so he was a great match for a family with children. And personality wise, he was no different than our 4 lb little guy!
