| ![]() I bathe their heads... They get their baths in my kichen sink. They both fit in quite easily, it's a good height (no beding over at weird angles and hurting my back) and we have one of those spray nozzles that make it just too easy. Cotton never worked for me... I'll pin their ears down with my hand, tilt their heads up a bit and let the water run from their forehead down the back of their neck. Then I use a light spray and run the water down the side of their muzzle (being careful not to get any in their noses!). I use tearless puppy shampoo on their head/necks just in case I get it in their eyes. They fussed about the water on their faces for a while. Once they figured out I was being careful to not get their eyes/ears/nose they were okay with it. Stand stock still for me now. |

| ![]() Yes, I bathe Pilla's head. When I do her face, I hold her just next to the stream of water, then cup my hand to catch the water and put it on her face. I bathe her usually two times a week, and I use the Chris Christianson Day to Day shampoo and conditioner. She smells great and is soooo silky. And I see a post here from someone whose baby won't let them cut the toenails......ooooweeee, is that a bad time here! Pilla has a FIT when I try. My vet advised that I make a "doggie burrito" first....wrap her tightly in a towel and just pull out one leg at a time. It still took my son and I both to hold her. But we discovered that if he directs her head AWAY from me and scratches her neck, she calms down. The back feet, however......another struggle, but we did it!

| ![]() I wash Banjo's face every morning with his own wash cloth. He loves it and expects it like clock work. This I find works well to avoid accumilation of boogers on his eye ducts.

| ![]() I push the ears down as well while I'm washing the face. I use those fluffy body scrubbers made for humans that you use with liquid body soap. Those things lather the soap so well and it's soft and gentle on their little bodies. |

| ![]() Not to make anyone insanely jealous but...When I say..Bob do you want to take a bath? he heads right for the bath tub. No kidding...Then when I pick him up and put him in he stands there as good as you please..He even lifts his neck when I wash under his chin and stays perfectly still during the whole thing!!! He wont even shake the water off until we are outside and finished towel rubbing.. The first time I tried this I couldnt believe how much he LOVED taking a bath!!! Then he sits pretty as you please while I brush and comb him. The only thing he doesnt care for is clipping his nails. |

I usually wash one handed because I'm holding him with the other i heard a toothbrush works good but i haven't tried it yet i bought the cowboy magic line and i think it's OK but i love the Miracle coat leave-in in spray it smells so good!! Are all your babies full grown? If not don't you have a hard time with the faces being so tiny? How often should i get his nails clipped?

| ![]() Chico tried to climb out of the sink during baths, too. We have a giant suction cup that I stick to the bottom of the sink then run his leash through it. It not only keeps him from jumping up, he seems to relax more when he realizes he can't get out anyway. Plus, I've got two hands free to bathe him. I've seen them advertised in dog supply catalogues. Anyway, it works for us! |

| ![]() Adonis (my 5 year old yorkie) doesn't mind a bath at all. I got get his shampoo, and he heads to the bathroom! I shampoo all of him, head included. I use walmarts brand shampoo, and recently started using Pantene ProV conditioner. He'll sit there in the tub till I take him out. I do try (try being the key word here) to wrap him in a towel, before he shakes off. I use a blow dryer, but make sure the bathroom door is closed I won't have to chase him for drying. I keep it moving, so he doesn't get burned with it. No worry about him getting burned anyway, have to kinda chase him around the bathroom to dry him. He hates getting his face hair blowdryed. I haven't bathed Venus yet. She's 3 months. Can you start bathing them that young? I can't remember when I started bathing Adonis. |

| ![]() I've bathed both of mine soon as I got them home or first thing the next morning. kizzy was 6 weeks and maggie was 8 weeks when i got them. Maggie is only 1 1/3 months old now and shes had at least a bath a week since 8 week and sometimes 2 a week. no reason not to bathe them. you give a new born baby a bath dontcha? I've made sure the house was warm tho.
