| Why Do They Hide Things? Why Do They Hide Things? For the first time today, Johnny is trying to hide a toy. He has been trying to put it under his blanket that's on the couch and behind the couch but is not satisfied with those locations so he has left it on the loveseat next to me. Why Do They Hide Things?

| Only my youngest one hides toys and I know it's to keep them from his brother and sister because if they even 'look' towards his hidey-hole, which is usually under the couch pillows or the bottom of the toy box, he charges over to protect his stash! It's funny watching him trying to 'bury' his treasure - he works so darn hard at it

| They're so funny, aren't they? Lexi usually only hides her flossies. She will walk around with it in her mouth, crying, trying to look for just the right place. Tonight, I heard some noise, and saw her trying to cover it up with the pee pad in her pan. (She did change her mind, and luckily, the pad was still clean!) She will put it behind the couch, in her crate, in the laundry basket. We once found one in my daughter's doll stroller. Then, there are other times where the flossie is just laying out in the open, wherever... I can't figure her out! |

| Barney does that too. Hides any toy, chewie or anything he can get his paws on. I move blankets or napsaks and find them all buried in there.

| Mia hides everything too! I think it is the hunting instinct. The only time it really bugs me is when she shoves a toy under the chest of drawers and then cries for me to get it out for her. She just wants to play all the time!! So cute! |

| Suri usually plays with her toys on the couch but the other day she tried to hide her big pink bunny in her cuddle sack in her crate. The bunny is almost bigger than she is, so it was funny to see her drag it all the way to the room and into he crate...hehe. Most of her toys she takes out of her Hide-a toy and stuffs them between the couch and my leg. Funny girl...

| Ohhhh, so that's what that's about! And here I thought it was something else. My boy was scratching and trying to pull at the blanket from his day bed with his teeth while holding a toy (he seemed to not know which one to drop). I thought that the blankie bothered him and so I removed it. No wonder he looked at me as if I were this huge party-pooper Now I know, I'll put it back |

| Chloe will walk around with the bone in her mouth searching and whining for the "perfect" hiding spot, she will stop and pee on the pad while continuing to whine and not drop the bone Then after all this she "hides" it under the coffee table , and comes back out feeling like she outsmarted us all She's a goof. Sydney on the other hand is a stealth warrior princess. If she wants something hidden ...You wont find it.

| I had a male yorkie about 24 years ago who loved to bury things. He would steal anything he could find but his favorites to hide were the Hershey kisses and the little foil wrapped Hersey chocolate eggs. He never tried to eat them. A few months after he unexpectedly died, the big plant in the living room died. I was carrying it to the outside garbage and the planter fell off. Out rolled over 50 of those little kisses and eggs. He would steal them and bury them in my planter and I never knew. I had to laugh because I thought I was the one who killed the plant. It was probably suffering from too much caffeine lol.
