| Finallly found another! We decided to add another yorkie to our family and decided to adopt one instead of purchasing from our breeder. After about a week of calling and emailing every rescue we could find off petfiner to see if they were willing to ship out to Canada, we finally found one. His flight is already booked and hopefully the weather clears up a bit on their end so that they can make the trek through the mountains to get him to the airport so that he'll arrive at our airport on saturday. His foster family named him Paddington but they said he doesn't know his name and we can rename him, we're thinking Yoshi. |

| He is SOOOOO cute! I can't believe that he's a rescue. People pay big bucks for Yorkies like that. I'm thinking that my next Yorkie should be a rescue too. What a great thing you are doing

| we actually ended up paying more for him then the puppy we were gonna get from our breeder. Adoption fee was 800, they threw in final shots and grooming for another 60, flight and boarding and all vet papers needed came out to 400 something. He came out to like 1360 and we even donated another 50 on top. We didn't mind paying so much because they used all the money except the shipping and gave it to another rescue to help in a puppymill run |

| Good looking little guy. So happy for you. Lots of good came out of your adopting a rescue especially the puppymill run. Our 4 yorkies have all been rescues. I like Paddington. |

| I rescued my Bridgette she did NOT come from a "rescue" but when we met her and found out about her terrible past and soon to be kennel life being bred every heat by a byb who's only concern was money, we had to save her. We did "pay" for her but she wouldn't have let her go otherwise. I think rescue is the best way to go. I have both rescue and purebred. But there are so many homeless dogs if it's fits your life I suggest to always rescue. Thank you for rescuing. I have never heard of a rescue that ships?

| ya it took about a week to find one that would ship. They had us paypal 800 to another rescue to help pay for the puppy mill run. Then they had us pay the rest to a vet so I hope we're not getting scammed, it's just so hard sending so much money to people you've never met but we're thinking positive and one of the people from the rescue called my husband earlier so it eased our minds a little but it's still a little un nerving |

| Oh, so adorable! I am also looking for a yorkie to adopt instead of buying from a breeder for my 6 month old male yorkie to have a companion. I am so happy for you! Good luck with him and btw, Yoshi is a great name for such an adorable guy like him! |
