My little Chihuahua who died of a massive stroke last year, had an eye put out by a foster shaking a knotted rope toy. Then she developed glaucoma in the other eye and was on two different meds for a year and then it ulcerated and had to be removed. She was just fine with no sight at all. Always such a happy little 2 pound girl. Your baby won't even know she is missing an eye.
Are you going to get a second opinion though, with a Veterinary Ophthalomologest?
