| Bows or no bows for boys?????? Okay, so I'm thinking about getting a male companion for my Molly (NOT FOR BREEDING PURPOSES). Is it okay to put bows on boys is my question? I think it would be okay if they were blue, green, yellow or even white and I ran the idea by my husband and he thinks it's stupid. I think it would be precious but he doesn't agree with me. Any thoughts or opinions??

| Lots of people put bows on their boys and I think it looks great. The only reason I don't put them on my 2 boys is that they tear them off each other

| I think bows for boys are actually pretty frequent. Walker doesn't wear them, he has a mohawk mostly since he would eat them. i can barely get him to not eat his collar...leash...tail. |

| my son won't even let me put a top knot in Johnny's hair...guess we're lucky he's got very fine hair that doesn't grow much or it would always be in his face

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | In the show ring, all yorkies wear bows, it's standard for a yorkie whether male or female. There are many bows made especially for boys, Ladymom member makes some really cute ones. M'Lady's Dog Bows - Boy Bows Page 1 And don't men wear bow ties with their tuxedos? I don't think George Clooney looks stupid in a bow.

| I would always let the groomer put a bow on Mac. He looks so cute with them, but my family always made fun of him...My son said the cat was even laughing at him! Thats why I got my Maci!.(one reason).Just wait till I find her Christmas dress!...I wish there was a type a bow or clip that had like a truck or something on them! Whoops I missed the post before mine..those are manly! I might need to order him some!

Thor's Human Donating Member | You know, there are a lot of cute boy outfits for boys. Maybe he can have a sportier look. Little ski jackets, sports jerseys, that kind of thing. Bandanas look masculine! |

| My husband says the same thing about boys and bows, it's all in their heads and how society tries to make us....I say do what you want, a lot of people put bows on their boys...I don't on mine because he refuses to keep bows in his hair, but believe me, I've tried.

| I do sometimes put bows on Harley, we call them his "man bow". I had bows made for him by Darlin Bouxs and he has one with a motorcycle, one camo one with a helicopter, a soccer one in my daughters team colors, and a great fall bow with a pumpkin. Just contact her and she will make whatever you want, she is great! Jeri and Harley |
