My husband has said NO to bows on our little man. That's why I want a little girl when we get our next Yorkie.

That seems a good way to handle it, a couple of times I haven't corrected it, and they keep talking and I then I feel stupid when I call him a he. I'm always guessing wrong, I just think certain breeds look more masculine.

Yorkies are gorgeous and have that envious coat of hair. I'd definitely do the bow if I had a little boy.

Molly will leave a little clip in her hair for a little while then she'll start pawing at her head for it to come off. Oh well, maybe my male will like it better...lol

Kingston doesn't wear bows, which is why I'm thinking I need to get a girl yorkie, so I could dress her up!

I agree!! but now I have 2 girls to dress up!! My Coco, a male, fits in build a bear t-shirts. So he has a few collared shirts he looks so handsome in. Just can't bring myself to put a bow on him. Hence the girls! GREAT!!

My Winston does "manly" bows (no pink, please). We love them... The pink bows are always 1st choice for my girls.

When I had Teddy, I always put "boy" bows in his hair and he was handsome. I don't think there is anything wrong with it.

I have a male Maltese and he wears bows also.

My male wears a Topknot w/a bow, I put any Color except Pink! I also braid his Tail and he wears a matching bow, during Xmas I put a small "Bell" that jingles when he wags it. AKC. Standard to have a Topknot w/a bow and it does NOT specify male or female! Yorkies are like "Peacocks" the males are (sometimes) more Beautiful than the Females. Besides it's OK. to be a "Metro Sexual" now. Well Groomed and Stylish are not considered "Gay" anymore. I'm pretty sure Artie (my male Yorkie) is comfortable enough w/his manhood?
