| Yorkie's ears I have a further question about ears standing up. I used the masking tape on one ear and after a week she did not need it anymore. The ear stood up straight for a month and now it is down again. My little girl is almost 7 months old. Has anyone had this problem? Should I keep taping the ear or just give up? When she stands straight the ear is straight but then when she runs it is down again. Also, when do they stop teething? She seems to be a late bloomer but is as sweet as they come. Thanks, Judy |

| I don't know much about ears, but do your little one's ears need a trim? Maybe the fur is too long, and is weighing them down?? |

| Floppy ear I have been careful about trimming her ears. I even tried taping her ears all around but that didn't work. I will keep putting a little masking tape in front of the ear. I put it in like a triangle. That seems to work and keeps the ear up. Then when it comes off, it stays up for a month or so. That is why the breeder sold her because she found out the mother had weak ears. She showed the mother as a puppy but then was unable to.and decided to breed her. I thought that once they went up they would stay that way. Maybe she's a work in progress. Thanks for your ideas though. Happy Holidays to everyone. |

| Kingston's ears used to flop down (as evidenced in the pic of my avatar lol) but then we just trimmed his ear hair and now they stand back up We learned how in Yorkshire Terriers for Dummies (hehe )
