| Photo Request - Yorkie Weight/Size I'm seriously considering getting a 3 lb adult male Yorkie as a playmate for Gus. Gus is 8 lbs. I've never seen a 3 lb Yorkie, so I can't visualize the size difference. Does anyone have a photo of two Yorkie's, about these sizes, together? Standing preferred.

| Here's a couple. Not the best, but hopefully they'll give you some idea. Boo is 10 1/2lbs, it's obvious which one he is in the pictures The first pic is him with Manolo, who is 3 1/2lbs, standing in front of him. The second pic is him with Gracie Ruth, who is around 3 lbs in this pic. I don't find the size difference to be at all an issue for 2 reasons. One, Boo is very aware of his larger size and will play only as hard as he needs to "defend" himself. Two, these little ones are fierce! And not at all intimidated by anything. In fact I actually have more trouble with Gracie and Yogi who are only a pound different in size. They go full bore at each other. A smaller companion for Gus shouldn't be a problem at all. Good luck!

| I thought my request was going to be "mission impossible", but mission completed within 20 minutes. Thanks very much for the pics and info. The pics are excellent quality, and show the perspective I needed.

| I don't know if this helps at all, but here is a picture of Chip when he was 8 weeks old and he was 3 lbs, then here is picture of him now at 8-9 lbs.

| I know we've talked about this but here are a few of Ranger (5.5) and Ryder (2.8). Ranger has LONG legs and LOTS of hair so I always think he looks a bit bigger than he is. The third pic was one Nicki sent me of Ryder before I got him, she only used the soda can because I couldn't wrap my head around his size. PS- Just say YES!!!

Senior Yorkie Talker | If it's any help my Gwen is 7 pounds 14 ounces (I just weighed her today) and she beats up all of my other dogs, a 28 pound Jack Russell/Miniature Pinscher, a 38 pound Siberian Husky and a 110 pound Golden Retriever! They all think she is their baby and tolerate her bullying lol. I know she's not a 3 pounder but when she was that size they were all gentle with her and treated her like she was made of porcelain and your big baby will probably do the same....after the initial "What do you mean it lives here?!" days lol.

| Thanks to all for the photos, and information. They are so cute individually, and even more so together.

| Triss is 5.5 lbs now at 8 months old, but when I got her, she was 2.4 lbs. When she was a small pup I introduced her to my 12 lb doxie and he was so gentle with her. Even though he is still twice her size now, she's the bully and has Spike under her complete control, lol.

| Tuesday is my D-day, i.e., Decision-day. Size is no longer a factor thanks to the input I've gotten.

| I'm making my decision based on photos, and written descriptions. I'm really shallow . I'm leaning toward #1: the cute, pretty one, as opposed to #2: the cute, practical one. #1 is a 6 month old pup with show potential, but will need to be housebroken, neutered, and will likely exhibit puppy behaviors like chewing. He will be a challenge. #2 is 1 year old, housebroken, neutered, and settled. He should fit into my pack with minimal effort.
