| its horrible what people will do to get money.....there's probably no puppy at all in this case...a lot of times if it sounds too good to be true....it is. Its really a shame that so many people had to lose not only their money but be heart broken as well |

Donating YT Addict | I agree about exploiting animals and how sad to portray a missionary in another country. I don't know how some people sleep at night.

| Ugg... ... while looking for a dog around this time last year, I saw an ad like that. Mentioned Africa and two yorkies. I called the number but never called back. It was too fishy and I suspected too good to be true from the get-go. Though, we do get a lot of "Free Dog" ads around here because we live close to Fort Bragg. Soldiers get shipped a lot and need to rehome dogs. It's sad, really. |

| The same story came up when my boyfriend's mom was looking for a yorkie pup!! The man in the ad online said he was a missionary in Spain and had two yorkies he could not care for anymore after he moved there. When we requested pictures, he sent us a couple, but they were VERY small pictures, as if they were found on Google. We figured it was a total SCAM!! |

| When I first joined YT I was shocked at the threads I read where people had been scammed....now, sadly its no longer shocking, its just ANOTHER scam. I'm so pleased u didnt send any money or invest your time and heart into this before checking it out. It's disgusting that there are low-lifes out there trying to take advantage of compassionate animal-lovers like yourself. xxx xxx

| omg i just got one this morning i was looking in my local classifieds and i found an add for a free yorkie in my area but the reply email i received was very similar to that and they obviously arent neighboring to my area[which is in alabama] heres the one i got this morning: Hello and thanks for your interest in adopting this my lovely yorkie puppy for she is still available and she is by name call (Lulu). i am just so concerned about her welfare and hope you can assure me of that. She is barely 12weeks old and home raised, potty trained and well socialized and gets along perfectly with children and other pets.Lulu is a pure breed yorkie puppy and AKC registered. She weighs 1.5ibs and will be approximately 3ibs full grown. Lulu is updated on all her shots and comes with a year health guarantee. She loves to be carried around and cuddled and full of caressing and kisses. She comes alongside the following - A year health guarantee -AKC registration papers -Pe digree papers -An air conditioned crate -Vet record -Food samples -Puppy toys I am giving her out for adoption because of my newly acquired Job as an auditor which demands a lot of my time and entails a lot of traveling. As such, i have little or no time to spend with her.She is really in need of a home where she will be provided with all the love, care and attention in that case $150will be needed to do all her paper works concerning her shipping. this puppy will be ship from Cameroon and that will take just about 8hurs some 36minits to rich to your locality okay .. however, i can have her shipped to you if you can assure me that you will take proper care of her by answering to the below questions What state are you located.................? Have you kids.......................... ....? Do you have other pets.....................? Have you ever had a yorkie puppy before......? Do you promise to take proper care of her............? To provide pictures so i see how she is doing........? Thanks so much and get back to me if you think you can provide a good home you can take a look at the baby resent pic Scopri la community di Io fotografo e video Il nuovo corso di Gazzetta dello sport per diventare veri fotografi! im taking it as a loser scam

| I thought of something else. When you read the e-mail or post and its grammatically incorrect, like really bad that's a BIG sign. Also, if everything is all lower case or upper case.

| Yeah I heard the same story. They (who ever they are) do change the story up every once in a while. The ones I saw were stories about a missionary in Cameroon, and/or the wife is in Canada.

| yeah ive seen plenty of them the past few days. most of them are from cameroon. the ads they put out are "local" but then they say they have to ship from their country. i am so tired of getting spammed by scammers. i think im just going to go to a local shelter and find a yorkie. i have searched around and found some yorkie rescue centers within 100 hundred miles of my home and they only ask for an adoption fee. plus i would be giving an otherwise "homeless" yorkie a home for good. i have SOOOO much love to give to my future furbaby

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | It's awful that they use God and nonexistant animals to make money off of hard working people.

| THIS IS A SUPER SCAM PLEASE DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY I hate to say this but any emails or ads you get that say "I am a missionary and I am in Africa/India/Asia" DO NOT EVEN BOTHER TO TAKE SERIOUSLY. This is a scam to get you to pay shipping charges for a non-existant puppy. Also these people send emails to you saying that a family member just died and they need you to receive the insurance payout, or that someone died and named you as beneficiary so they need your account number to give you $20,000 or $200,000 and all you have to pay is the taxes up front. Hundreds of pour souls fall for this crap right away. Maybe it is because I am more street smart that right away I can tell this is some straight up bull**** but please dont be another victim.
