|  me too!  I'm also in the group.( I'm 51).. my daughter lives in gulfport MS (25) and I live in NC...my yorkies are my babies...have always had dogs...can't remember a time when both me and my daughter haven't had   a little dog in the bed...she has two of her own...spoiled silly.....  roxanne

| I thought I was enjoying my empty nest there for a while. Then my daughter asked me to take care of Ted until she got settled in a new apartment. I never even knew I "needed" Ted until he arrived. He fills up an empty space I didn't even know was there until he showed up. |

| Well, I was a empty nester. My daughter got married 1 1/2 years ago but she is kinda staying with me for awhile now. She is a teacher so I have been getting her up and packing her lunch. She is 24. lol... I guess we never stop being mommas.

| well, not exactly an empty nester... but my little birds fly all over the place all the time and they are never home.. haha... my girls live at home but are always somewhere else on their own... my puppies are my constant companions and keep me going... d
