| The Debate Goes On within myself. Will Gus be happier with a Yorkie playmate, or continuing with the buddy relationship we currently have? He just gave me that, "I'm really bored look, give me somthing to do look. It's looks like these that cause me to lean in favor of a playmate. There is a candidate playmate, about his own age that I'm seriously considering, that would be as good as I think I'll ever find. Unfortunately, the candidate is far away, so I need to make the decision without a personal meeting. Of course, if I continue to procrastinate the candidate will be gone to another.

you need to make sure it will be a good fit before you bring home another animal. not all animals will bond, and it will be problematic for you if they decided that they hate each other and will fight constantly...

| How old is Gus? I think he would enjoy a buddy. Now I got both of mine as pups but they didnt meet before hand and they are fine. I didnt even see Jewels before I picked her up. The breeder described her to me over the phone then sent me an email picture

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | I think it's a great idea. I never realized what a great disservice I was doing my Shadow by keeping him alone for seven years. What a difference in him since I added all the new additions! They are pack dogs, and love to have others around to play with! Good luck!!

| 4 years ago when my husband and I decided that it was time to look for our Yorkie, there was no question, we were getting 2 at the same time. I feel that 'everyone' deserves to have a friend Roxy and TJ were from the same breeder and 2 months apart. In the beginning they were great. But then TJ got 'cranky' and Roxy reverted more into the shell she already was in....Oh we had some 'trying' months. But I was determined to stop TJ in his 'dominating' tracks and slowing 'drag' Roxy out from under her rock.... Today, she beats him up...playing of course, but it is a wonderful sight to see ...I am tossing the idea around of adding again to our family, and ya know what...I think if we are going to do it again...I gotta go on the 'friend' theory and get 2 more Best of Luck |
