There is a candidate playmate, about his own age that I'm seriously considering, that would be as good as I think I'll ever find. Unfortunately, the candidate is far away, so I need to make the decision without a personal meeting. Of course, if I continue to procrastinate the candidate will be gone to another.
i dont' think it's a good idea to get a dog without having both your furless family and your furry family members meeting it first.

you need to make sure it will be a good fit before you bring home another animal. not all animals will bond, and it will be problematic for you if they decided that they hate each other and will fight constantly...
