http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...19-2009-a.html Have to admit, since I am a local, I haven't paid much attention to the travel details, but I have flown with my dogs and its pretty easy and most airlines charge about $100 to have your furbutt fly in a bag as a 'carry on.' My name is Hilary, BTW!

| Hi, I know what you're going through. I am 50 now, but 7 years ago my 2nd husband walked out on us (myself and my 2 sons who were then only 3 and 5). Although I was devastated, it was really a blessing in disguise as he was abusive. Due to a lot of circumstances that would take too long to explain and is too upsetting for me, my sons (they are both autistic) are currently living in special schools. I go and visit them on weekends. My younger son I am hoping will be able to come home before the holidays and my older son will be able to come home mid-Feb. So, at this time I am quite alone and miserable missing my boys. However, I do have 3 cats (2 persian and 1 orange tabby) along with my little furbaby, Molly. As sweet as Molly is, I have no far had no success yet with either a pee pad or outside. Although, I would imagine with patience and with time (she is only 12 weeks old), she will eventually come around. Even though there are plenty of little messes to clean up after, I wouldn't trade her for the world. Just her excited look in those dark, sparkling expressive eyes makes it all worthwhile. So, I know exactly how you feel about your little furbaby. And, yes, Molly is my only dog. Which is fine with me. |
