First, make sure there is no urine residue left in the carpet, most cleaners will not touch the protein, and it takes an enzyme cleaner to remove all protein which cases them to return to the spot. Nature's Miracle is one brand, and you need to thoroughly saturate the area and allow to air dry. If you have a black light it will show you protein spots, they glow ultra white. Next you just move the pee pad a little each day until she gets use to the new spot. Always clean mistakes with the enzyme cleaner.

Great ideas...I was looking for a good carpet cleaner...I am a clean freak so I will purchase a Black Light! I think the product I was using has removed any urine left...but I FEAR, when the summer months come and the room warms up I will smell pee! I will sniff the entire carpet hahaha! BLACK LIGHT !!!!!!!! Great idea! THANKS...

I would say the hardest year for us was the last one. We knew Boog's time was coming and it was like a dark cloud over us everyday. The first 11 years or so were great...yes, he had medical problems, but we still had time together. Enjoy every minute you have with your babies...even if they are pottying all over the place or chewing up your favorite things, humping the cat and digging up the yard...it all goes by way too quick and in the end those things don't even matter anymore.
