| Puppies on Kimora Life in the Fab Lane I'm just watching the reality show Kimora Life in the Fab Lane, and Kimora Lee sent her assistant to go find her a black and white "tea cup" pomeranion. He went to all of these pet shops in LA that sell little puppies. It was so sad to see them all caged up. I'm pretty sure most of them would have come from a puppy mill as well. One store that he went into was called Puppy Land LA (PuppyLandLA, Yorkie, Maltese, Toy, Teacup, Puppies, Breeders, Sale) and there was a bunch of chinese ladies running the place and they were all wearing surgical masks! They specialized in Yorkies and Malteses. So sad, I wonder if they were wearing the masks because the pups immune systems were really bad. Has anyone else seen this episode, or heard of this store? You'd think that someone professional and who has owned dogs before would be sure to buy a puppy from a proper healthy breeder. |

YT 2000 Club Member | I agree, I don't think they would care about the health of the dogs they are selling. If it was because of the pups immune system, they would have gowns, gloves and masks for anyone that came into the room, not just the workers having a mask on. I think it is a ploy to make it look like it is a clean, germ free place, so to say.

| Just because someone is famous and has owned dogs before does not mean they're educated about dogs. I don't know about teacups Pom, but in my country "mini" Pom is very popular. I just looked at the site... wow they sure do make the puppies look adorable. Tugs on your heartstrings. Sigh. More people need to be aware of puppy mills.

| They pay mega-bucks for them, too!!! I didn't see the episode, but I hope she got TONS of mail telling her about the places where these puppies are bred. I agree that the masks are a ploy-or maybe, to hide their faces so they can't be ID'd...LOL |
