Just because someone is famous and has owned dogs before does not mean they're educated about dogs.
I don't know about teacups Pom, but in my country "mini" Pom is very popular.
I just looked at the site... wow they sure do make the puppies look adorable. Tugs on your heartstrings.
Sigh. More people need to be aware of puppy mills.
