| I'm sure that if you paid $200.00 for the pup and hubby still says no....then you wouldn't have a hard time finding someone willing to pay $200.00 for him...don't ya think? You know your husband best......See I know I could get away with it and only get a "TAAAMMY!!".... plus a few demands of his own on me!!!..LOL How will your hubby react to the situation? That's what I'd consider most! Good luck..hope it turns out.....

| My husband to this day says, "I said no dog". He is so in love with Mia he cant help himself!! He can't imagine life without her. She is sleeping on his pillow at the moment! They are very cute together. I agree, ask for forgiveness not permission. |

| You might have a point. I wasnt thinking. In my case, I got trixie while he was away. When I was on the phone, I was holding trixie, and at the same time. He was saying "absolutely no dogs" When he came back, six months latter, it almost cost me my marriage, but he loved her after only minutes of being around her. Thank GOD (he is a marine)

| Get that yorkie girl! Deal with hubby later. Either he'll get over it or he won't. I have 3 female adult yorkies, and 2 10 week old pups and a toy poodle. They all are very small . Anyway, everytime I would bring another dog home my hubby would gripe and pout and carry on like a kid. But then he got over it. LOL I bought the sweetest 4 yr. old female yorkie for a birthday present for myself. I knew that my husband would hit the ceiling when he found out. Anyway when he was on his way home from work I called him and told him. I wanted to prepare him. He said where's this yorkie going to live? I said with us. He got home and he took a shower and went to bed. He didn't even eat. He was pouting like a baby. Next thing I know he starts growing a beard. He knows I can't stand them. I kept asking him when he was going to shave? He kept saying as soon as you get rid of one of your dogs. Well, anyway I haven't gotten rid of any of my dogs and I don't plan to. His beard is growing out nicely and since he keeps it trimmed and shaped it doesn't look half bad. LOL Also, after he actually got a good look at Harley he fell in love with her. Because she's all together different from my other yorkies they are black and gold and Harley is blueish silver on her body with a very gold face. Why are men soo stubborn and childish when it comes to pets? You'll have to let us know what happens when you bring your new baby home! LOL

| After 12 years of marriage (15 years together including dating), I have come to realize the answer to this question! Because it is another living creature that he has to compete with for your attention! As long as he gets his attention from you, it ends up being ok, lol.

| I have gone through some of the same situations with my husband...we started with 1 dog. Next, it was 2. Each time DH said "H&@! NO, no more dogs...." He was not a dog person and was raised with dogs belonging outside and basically no animals allowed in the house. I have rescued and rehomed a few dogs here and there. DH hates it on one hand but says he loves me more because of it on the other hand. Now, we have 4 dogs (2 - 65 lb. English Bulldogs & 2 - Yorkies). Both Yorkies were rescue situations. When I got the first yorkie, he said find her a home before the week is up. That was about 3 months ago (and she is sleeping with us and he takes her riding and on trips more than I do....) Then, Saturday we got our male yorkie from a wonderful home and wonderful people. They were moving and could not take him. My husband said as long as you rehome him within the next 2-3 days that is fine. After seeing him and how loving Ramzy is, he said "I guess he can stay since he fits in so well"....Oh, he also sleeps in our bed! My husband has nicknamed him "Batman" because of his very large ears! My husband tries to be tough but the little fur babies have won him over....I never thought we would have a dog sleeping in our bed. That was always his one rule....NO DOGS IN OUR BED! The bulldogs sleep in crates mostly due to their size and they take up so much room....But, now we have 2 little yorkies in our bed....It is so cute. Go ahead and get the pup! Ask for forgiveness later! It is hard to say no to a little loving face after you get a few kisses! |
