Conner had bleeding from the rectum and I took him to the emergency vet. He had ruptured an anal sack and had to be on antibiotics for 10 days. They also gave him pain meds for 5 days. He was back to normal after a couple of days. They gave me a funnel for his head so that he would not lick, but I put him in baby onsies instead. Now the vet does his anal glands.

With my daughter doing the translating, it's hard to tell, but she said it was a one time thing and has not occurred again, however, she did mention it to the Dr. while they were there and she examined her and said that was a non issue.

In the meantime, we think we found out the problem. It's gross, but later in the day, Mika passed a FUR BALL. Now who knows where that came from.....but the Dr. seemed to think it was an anal gland thing, so they were aspirated as well.

In the meantime, there has been no more blood, and Mika is acting quite happy and normal.

I want to thank you all for just being there. When the daughter called me at work I had 23 girls a police officer and a teacher in my room and was in the middle of a workshop on domestic abuse.

After I thought all kinds of horrible things had befallen Mika I was so rattled I didn't do a good job of the workshop, but at least I know what love feels like.

I love Mika and Maya....and the skin kid too.
