Conner had bleeding from the rectum and I took him to the emergency vet. He had ruptured an anal sack and had to be on antibiotics for 10 days. They also gave him pain meds for 5 days. He was back to normal after a couple of days. They gave me a funnel for his head so that he would not lick, but I put him in baby onsies instead. Now the vet does his anal glands.
