| Drake the Devil -- Update! So we all know that Drake is turning out to be aggressive. He actually hurt Buddy tonight, which I was not going to stand for. I have been upset all day long because of this. I thought things were going well, but then there was a fight, that wasn't play it was aggression from Drake toward Bud. So I called my dad crying, and my step-sister is going to take Drake for a while till things calm down. She has always wanted a Yorkie. I am going to let her foster him for a while. If things work out and she becomes attached, I am going to give it to her as a Christmas gift. But shhh. she doesn't know about the possible gift part. I think this is the best decision for now. Buddy is showing fear and that is one thing I did not want to happen. And I also did not want Drake to show aggression. And when he latched on to Bud's neck, I knew it was not going to work. The trainer I spoke to said some dogs are just more aggressive (no matter if they are fixed or not) and he seems to be an only dog type dog. At least he is only 5 minutes from me. I can see him all the time and he has a good home for how (and if I decide to gift him to her). I guess it is true, some dogs can't get along with kids or cats or other dogs and I think Drake is one of those dogs. Buddy, on the other hand, is the most friendliest dogs I have EVER met! So thanks for advice, info and just letting me vent. You guys rock!!

| Sorry to hear, but it sounds like you have a good alternative for you, Buddy, and Drake. |

| I very well understand where you are coming from, our problem is a Jack Russell she was fine until we had her spayed and them all hell broke out, she very aggressive towards the female lab that before she was best buds with. I mean to the point that the lab attack back, and blood is draw, the last time was the last straw Millie the lab was laying on the grass minding her own business and Gracie(terrier) attack her leg lock on millie (lab) fights back , It took 2 of us to get Gracie mouth open wide enough to get Millie leg out . now she is mussel when she goes outside, I don't understand why all of a sudden she has become such a terror, Gracie is rehome dog 3yrs old, we have had her for 2yrs now. I don't understand why being spayed made her this way, and it's just millie the other 2 labs she fine with, and yes they are all fixed. |

| I know that was a hard decision for you to make, but it was a good one. Sometimes bringing a new dog in just doesn't work out for whatever reason. Giving Drake to your sister seems like a perfect situation. |

| Just a thought, but I think you should contact Drake's previous owner and let her know it didn't work out. She might want him back to try to place him herself rather than having him passed on to someone else. |

| That is a good idea. I will ask her if it is ok to place him with my sis, if not I will be more than happy to return him to her for her to place. Thanks for the advice. I also felt so badly for Buddy that I just went crazy at PetSmart to make up for what I and Drake did to him. I bought him new collars, leashes and harnesses, another winter coat, boots, a sweater, new bandannas, treats, bully sticks and a book for me about Yorkies! He deserves my all and I can give it to him! I love him so much! He is a spoiled furson!

| It may work out later on to get another Yorkie. You just got Buddy a week ago, didn't you? Getting two Yorkies in such a short period of time was probably just too much to take on. Maybe once he has a chance to settle in the right furbaby companion will come along. |

Later, much later down the line, when I do get another Yorkster, do you suggest it be a pup or a little older (I plan on getting another in a year or 2). So I will still have Bud, but I don't know if older dogs get along with older dogs better or if they get along with pups better. Thanks for all of your support!
