| New Here! Hello everyone! I was a member here many moons ago when I owned my beautiful Yorkie Trixie - but she was taken several years ago by my ex even though he gave her to me for my birthday. I miss her dearly and have no clue where they are. It's been 3 years since I've come around but by some grace from above, my family and I decided we wanted to adopt a smaller dog from a shelter because we already own a beautiful Australian Kelpie named Ginger. We searched high and low for someone to match her and finally, on the last day when I was giving up, we decided to visit one last shelter. Sitting in the third stall was Kobe - a beautiful Silky Terrier who was relinquished by his owner just the night before because she moved into an apartment and couldn't keep him. I thought, what are the chances that I could find another gorgeous baby who reminded me so much of my Trixie! We prayed that he was available and he was! We took him that same day and he and Ginger are so awesome together and take care of each other, it's so much fun to watch them! So I'm happy to be back again and look forward to making new friends! I've really missed being here! So hello to everyone from Kobe's new mom and hope to meet many of you soon! |

| I am the biggest believer in fate. It was fate that I got my first ever Yorkie after searching for more than 6 months for free, just 2 weeks ago. And I wanted another one. It was fate that someone saw my old post looking for a Yorkie and they contacted me (I already had Buddy). So now I have 2 new Yorkies within 2 weeks. Buddy is 2 and was kept in a crate his whole life until he met me! And Drake belonged to a college student who couldn't care for him. It was fate that these dogs came to ME and were totally free. Although they are not getting along at the moment, I still believe it was totally fate! So anyways, I am glad you got a dog that reminds you of your other pup! It was FATE!!! Good luck with him and post pics please!
