I hope to know by this weekend whether we'll be making it. I've been trying to slowly 'car break' Ori. He's so nervous everytime when we take him out for car rides and a couple of times he threw up. Where as Cassi absolutely loves car rides. I really want to go and have finally convinced DH as well into going. Now it's all up to the little guy...

Have you tired putting him in one of the small enclosed carriers will a blanket over the top? Sometimes a nice cool quiet place to take a nap makes a car ride so much easier.

Maybe something like this?

Good idea! My coffee is only happy in the car if he's in his travel crate. Makes a world of difference.. they feel secure

I've actually tried keeping him in his bag last time when we were in the car and he seems to do alot better. I'm going to take him out for a car ride tomorrow. I'll see how he does staying in his carrier.

Ok, I just registered this evening and booked my hotel. Please let me know if you received my payment or if you need anything else from me. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone in person. It's going to be a long 4.5 hour drive since I'm going to have to make a few stops for the little furbutts.

This is the first I have found out about it. This sounds like a blast.
I also have the same problem with work schedule, so if I know plenty of
time in advance, that works.

This year I have a new baby yorkie girl who is only four month old, not ready for such big trip yet and I also have a eight month old yorkiepoo.
Both are just a little to young for all the excitement, but next year I think we could make this work. I hope they keep every one posted on this during the year.

YIPPIE! Thanks to the cooperation of our friends at the Sheraton we are able to extend our registration deadline until June 15th. Please remember that all registration fees must be received by midnight on June 15th. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me, Judy (Gingergirlsmom), Cindy (chattiesmom), or admin.

Also don't forget to reserve your rooms at the Sheraton we are still a few room nights short of meeting our minimums.

Right now we have 53 registrations plus 3 meetup team members.
