Actually this is the 2nd Annual YorkieTalk Meetup. Last years meetup was in Kansas City. Yorkies are welcome at all of the functions, whether they are in carriers or not.

Is there anyone going to the meet up from my general vicinity (MN) that would be able to transport one dog with them to Alexandria? I am trying to work something out and if anyone could help.... it would be such a blessing.

I want to go so badly and my husband has said to just say the word. However Kass just isn't social like her daddy and I. I think it would be just too much for her and ruin it for us too. She gets so stressed out when my sis's poodle is around I just can't imagine the stress of so many dogs and people.

I keep debating it in my mind and want to go so badly but feel in my heart it would be wrong to take her. I hope those of you going have a fantastic time , it sounds like a blast.

If you can get her to me in SE Michigan, I'm driving and can certainly transport one more with our group........

aww Sherri I'm very sorry to hear that.

Is there any way you could leave Kass with friends or family for the weekend? We're not bringing Tucker because I'm not sure if he'd be happy with so many dogs around.

Megan, I really hadn't thought about leaving her home. I am crazy over yorkies and usually go nuts over one let alone a hundred. Most everyone would think I was a wack job about to take off with theirs. There I would be with no proof I am actually a yorkie owner.

We went to FL in April for two weeks and left Kass with my best friend and her hubby. I kid you not they were counting sleeps until we got back she was such a little monster. We plan to go again next year and are lost as to what to do with her. Their teenage daughter used to stay here and keep her but she is now married and has her own home. We are hoping they forget how bad it was and will keep her again by then lol.

I am still debating it and have until Monday to decide.
