Call 1-800-325-3535, and reserve your room for the "YorkieTalk Meetup".

OR

Visit the YorkieTalk Meetup webpage @ Sheraton Yorkies to make your reservations online.

*** A credit card will be needed to hold your reservations; however, your card will not be charged until checkout after the meetup. Reservations must be made NO LATER THAN 5:00PM on June 16th, 2009.

***Please note that any cancellations MUST be made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled arrival.

i wanted to reserve my hotel room in case the airfare drops and i can attend...and i don't want the hotel rooms to be all booked by then if that was to happen...

thanks Sonya...i just called to book my room and the 16th is no longer available...but they told me to try again in a few days so due to cancellation and what not...

and at first the fiancee did not want to go but hearing me book the hotel room he is asking if he can come...haha...men are so funny...

so if the airfare prices goes down...you guys can count my fiancee and I along with 2 of the furkids in...hehe...

I am going to post this here in case anyone else neds the info.

We are travelling to the meetup via RV and the RV park that was listed in this thread is a year round park so they don't have opening. So I did a lot of searching around before booking a place. There are a couple of options.

KOA- about 20 miles
Washington DC / Capitol KOA
768 Cecil Avenue North - PO Box 9
Millersville, MD 21108
ok, but you will have to travel the beltway to get back and forth (this was our 2cnd choice)

This is where we booked
Travel Trailer Village

It is about 20 miles SOUTHWEST of Alexandria and is GORGEOUS! Is thrilled to have all of our yorkies there and run by the nicest people! AND it is CHEAP and has free wireless and there is a 10% discount for age 62 or AAA. phone # 888-737-5730 Ask for Miss Avis and tell her you would like a spot near the other people there with yorkies (that will be ME (Sonya Shaw) as well as mypreciouspups (Anne) and Annabella's Mom (Nancy). If you give them my name they will reserve a spot by us. Some of us are also towing vehicles so there should be plenty of room to carpool into the meetup hotel.

Thanks for posting this info Sonya! The company with the doggie cruise is Washington DC Boat Tours from Potomac River Boat, Charter a Boat or Take a Tour. Ther price is $14.00 per person, I believe. Most of my info is at home so I can give you more information after 5:00.
