| I bought a Yorkie on my birthday as a present to myself with my girlfriend. I have grown really attached to it. He follows me everywhere and goes to work with me. I have been thinking allot about breading him, was mostly interested in stud service at first. Recently I came across a female silkie. She is 2 years old, she would be considered the alpha of her past household. We brought her here and she has become the same way. They get along great, however she needs to be the center of attention. All this aside my basic question is. If i decide to breed these two, is this a popular breed? Yorkie silkie, does anyone have any websites I can learn more about this? I would love to hear opinions and researched responses. Thanks so much. |

Welcome to the 2009 Meetup thread. You probably won't get many answers to your questions in here. I would try posting your question in the breeding section.

| I cannot wait for July! I won't be bringing any yorkies though , too far for them to fly ( 27hrs) so I'll have empty hands... to yorkie sit!

| Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Wow, you're gonna make it??? That's awesome! There goes my hopes for the person traveling the farthest. But at 27 hours, you'll have earned it!

| Oh I would so love to come and really thought I would make it this year, but my daughter is due to have a baby mid June and I'm traveling to where she lives to be with her and want to stay a few weeks. It sounds like so much fun and I would love to meet everyone!! Who knows, maybe it will still work out.

| Well I have paid reservation fees and reserved the room. My daughter, Barbi, and her daughters, Kallee and Gracie, and her new baby, Ty (due in March), will be coming with me. Can't wait to see old friends and meet new ones. Murfee, on the other hand, will not be attending. He really is not an outgoing little guy.
