Make Santa's Job easy -- ask for a Registration!
 
Only 32 days left to register before the registration fees go up. If you are thinking about going, why not ask Santa Clause for the Registration? I bet that Santa would agree that whether you've been Naughty OR Nice that the Registration for the 2009 International YorkieTalk Meetup would be a gift to make him/her smile!

If any hubby, wifey, boyfriend, girlfriend, etc., would like to pay for the Registration for someone - I will be glad to make up a special Gift Certificate to put in an envelope under the tree --

Is anyone from Maryland going?Everyone seems to know each other and I quess I'm just not as active as some. I quessWould love to get to know everyone.

I don't live in Maryland, but I would love to get to know you. I can't think of a better way to get to know a LOT of YTers better than to come to the meetup.

Thats my plan! I know some people, but not as well as I would like. I am thinking of this as my grand debut and trying to be as active as possible in the meantime!

I think you should go! I don't really feel like I "know" anyone. That's why the meetup sounded like fun. It'll give us that chance.

omg I think I have jim talked into going to the meet up.. now I need to find out all the details for those going in motorhomes... this is so exciting..any one with information.. I would love it if you could pm me..
Do we just pay for the meet up itself and then find a campground close by???? anne

Anne, here is the response I got a couple of weeks ago about RV parks. I think Shelby & Seymour is bringing an RV too.
And it looks like it is pretty much a sure thing that we are going. It is a good sign when Mike is online looking up Alexandria Va! lol

There are a ton of pet friendly hotels in arlington and Georgetown, Washington D.C. is RIGHT across the bridge. Although, I bet Georgetown is pricier...I know Hotel Monaco in Arlington accepts dogs.

I think you should go to the meet up. I am not as active and don't know most of the people either. I went to the last one in KC and had a really great time.....even tho I didn't know a lot of the people.

Just because there are not rooms left at the Sheraton....don't let that stop you. I know several people didn't stay at the hotel in KC. I didn't stay there and still had a great time.

I would send a PM to Rebelbelle and see if she can do anything. I find it hard to believe all the rooms blocked are gone as there aren't that many registered yet. We just made our hotel reservations on Saturday.....

Just throwing this out there----is there anyone on the east coast anywhere along I-95 from South Carolina all the way to Virginia that would like to carpool to the meet-up? I'm not 100% sure I can go yet, but wanted to get ideas if anyone along my way is going. I don't mind the drive (8 hrs), but it would be nice to have someone to chit-chat with :D

There ARE still rooms left at the Sheraton Old Town Alexandria. We just had a computer glitch. Please let me know if there are any more problems. THANKS!

LOL...I've been here for almost 2 months now. The move went really fast. I got the job offer on sept 30th and they wanted me to start oct 13th!:eek: We are finally getting settled here. It has definitely been a journey! I plan on posting some pictures and an update on izzy and his new home. So far things are going well. Glad you will be here in Alexandria! I cant wait!:)

I have another couple that want to go with us to the meet up.. we will come from Canada, and they will meet us there and are from Florida.. so I have to get our tickets paid for before the deadline..I printed off all the important material...
