Oh Carpooling! How much fun you are going to have! A REAL Yorkie Train - Alexandria or Bust! I can just hear you singing as you are rolling down the highway! I am driving up from Rome, Georgia which is south of North Carolina - it will be about 10 hours driving time for me. |
If I can find a way to get there---I may come with my mom and Izze. hmmm... are other breeds allowed too? I can't imagine leaving Molly at home. Izze needs her and so do I :) |

I don't have a name, but there is also an RV park that has a transit system stop at it........ which would help with transportation around the area..... including to and from the hotel. I will have to go back and check. It will depend on the $$ of gas and also the economy for us, but it is our hope to take the RV, too! |
Help OK, I am feeling a little dumb here. I want to register through paypal. I don't see anything to click on. How do I go about paying the $75 to paypal...is there a link that I missed? Thanks, Bonnie |
c'mon people...am I allowed to bring Molly along? Also..I think that I shall have 2 yorkies by then! Puppy breath for all! |

I've never been separated from my Molly since she came here 7 years ago---so I can't do that (her heart would break and mine would too)...and Izze is kind of dependent on her (even though Iz is older). Molly looks out for her and takes care of her. The groomer even noticed! |

You go to www.Paypal.com. Then click on "Send Money" at the top. In the To: section, put in meetup@yorkietalk.com. After you hit continue, remember to to include the following information in the PayPal "message to recipient" box: 1. Your YT user ID, 2. Which registration fee you are paying, 3. How many people you are paying registration fees for, 4. Each person’s "real" name(s), 5. The name of the Yorkie(s) you’ll be bringing with you (if you know at this point), 6. How many raffle tickets you’re paying for (if applicable) PM me if you still need help! :D |
Yay! I can bring Louis, Ella Bean's big brother. He is a sweet, loving Cavalier King Charles. I was worried b/c they do NOT like to be separated! |

Wow. This is going to be exciting. I unfortunately don't have a yorkie of my own, though I often claim my cousin's. Oh, I guess I should introduce myself. My name is Jennie, or Jenn for short, and I am a newbie on here. Just joined today in fact, but I will be attending the YT meet-up with my cousin/sister Misty. You all know her as RebelBelle, though. Anywho... can't wait!:p |
Only 896.24 miles away, I hope Juicy and I can make it. It would be nice meeting everyone. I casualy brought it up to my boyfriend he thinks im insane, but willing to compromise. He says if we get to stop in North Carolina to go to his old military base then we're IN. So its looking good!!! :) |

Thank you, for the welcome and not holding it against me. lol. I love you Mi Mi! |
Yay! Welcome to YT kid. I love you too! Thanks a lot Mike! |
mixing yorkies and silkies I bought a Yorkie on my birthday as a present to myself with my girlfriend. I have grown really attached to it. He follows me everywhere and goes to work with me. I have been thinking allot about breading him, was mostly interested in stud service at first. Recently I came across a female silkie. She is 2 years old, she would be considered the alpha of her past household. We brought her here and she has become the same way. They get along great, however she needs to be the center of attention. All this aside my basic question is. If i decide to breed these two, is this a popular breed? Yorkie silkie, does anyone have any websites I can learn more about this? I would love to hear opinions and researched responses. Thanks so much. :animal-pa |

Welcome to the 2009 Meetup thread. You probably won't get many answers to your questions in here. I would try posting your question in the breeding section. |
meet up Thank you!!! I wont make it up that far due to my job. Have fun!!! |
I cannot wait for July! I won't be bringing any yorkies though:(, too far for them to fly ( 27hrs) so I'll have empty hands... to yorkie sit!:D |

I *think* i might be coming! Probably not with Layla but not for sure yet! |
Oh I would so love to come and really thought I would make it this year, but my daughter is due to have a baby mid June and I'm traveling to where she lives to be with her and want to stay a few weeks. It sounds like so much fun and I would love to meet everyone!! Who knows, maybe it will still work out. |
Well I have paid reservation fees and reserved the room. My daughter, Barbi, and her daughters, Kallee and Gracie, and her new baby, Ty (due in March), will be coming with me. Can't wait to see old friends and meet new ones. Murfee, on the other hand, will not be attending. He really is not an outgoing little guy. |
